Sorry for the long posting but ...

I recently began using a zip drive for backups on my FreeBSD system.
Some strangeness is occuring during multivolume backups. (It can't span
media)
 To install the drive I followed the posting from Nick Sayer posted here
using the following in the disktab file:

zip|zip 100:\
        :ty=removable:se#512:nc#96:nt#64:ns#32:\
        :pa#196608:oa#0:ba#4096:fa#512:\
        :pb#196608:ob#0:bb#4096:fb#512:\
        :pc#196608:oc#0:bc#4096:fc#512:

then
% disklabel -r -w -B sd1 zip
% newfs /dev/rsd1a

According to Iomega, the Solaris setup should be :

                disk_type="Zip 100"\

                        :ctlr=SCSI\

                        :ncyl=2406:acyl=2:pcyl=2408:nhead=2\

                        :nsect=40:rpm=3600:bpt=20480

                partition="Zip 100"\

                        :disk="Zip 100":ctlr=SCSI\

                        :2=0,192480

 The drive seems to work ok except for the following strange messages:

During Boot

Jan 23 10:17:11 dblizzar /kernel: (aha0:5:0): "IOMEGA ZIP 100 N.38" type

Jan 23 10:17:11 dblizzar /kernel: sd1(aha0:5:0): Direct-Access

ficticious geometry
Jan 23 10:17:11 dblizzar /kernel: 96MB (196608 512 byte sectors)

and during media changes:

Jan 21 10:49:22 dblizzar /kernel: sd1(aha0:5:0): ILLEGAL REQUEST
asc:24,0 Invalid field in CDB
Jan 21 10:49:22 dblizzar /kernel: sd1 could not mode sense (4). Using
ficticious geometry
Jan 21 10:49:22 dblizzar /kernel: sd1: invalid primary partition table:

How should I set it up properly???

Sorry for the long posting
