Hi all,

I would like some assistance in setting up a web server using FreeBSD and
some web server software.

I would like to know what kind of installation i should do with FreeBSD (I
am planning to use 2.1.6 until 2.2 is released (which should be soon)).

What kind of web server software(apache, etc...)
How to set up the server(I am looking just for some tips and
suggestions....)

Any security measures I should take would be appreciated.

I will be at first via ISP - 33.6K modem connection to see if all works. I
get a dynamic IP but I am just looking for a test at the moment so no
static IP is needer(or is it?) Perhaps later I will want to have a
perminant connection with static IP. I just want to see how FreeBSD
performs and maintains. thanks for any help on this matter. choa.

Stephane
