I'm trying to install the emacs package off of the 2.1.5 cdrom, but I can't
get
it to work...
I've tried using pkg_add from /cdrom/packages/editors and
/cdrom/packages/All... I've even tried to let /stand/sysinstall install
it for me. Every time it acts like it worked but when I run emacs, I get
the message:
ld.so failed: Can't find shared library "libgcc.so.261.0"
or other X librares like libXaw , libXmu

I've read the mailing lists and found other ppl facing the same problem as
me.
I've tried what was recommended there but nothing seems to work...
wonder if anyone can help and advise me what i should do ?
