When i've played with pppd on my FreeBSD box (v. <=2.1.6.1) i've found that pppd won't accept (and run with) any parameters in command line or /etc/ppp/options if both "tun" and "ppp" devices compiled in kernel. Possible it's not important since most boxes run with tun-device only, or ppp-device only, but not both at same time. However, it exists. -- Ilya Varlashkin
