Please indulge me with this posting - while it may not DIRECTLY
apply to the topic of this group, there are probably a large
number of readers here to whom this message may be important.

If you are:

A) self-employed or involved with self-employed
B) of the opinion the Section 1706 is unfair to contractors
C) tired of the IRS ignoring the Constitution

then I'd appreciate hearing from you briefly at
"mark@t4p.com".

An advocacy group for small businesses is considering a
legal challenge against Section 1706 of the IRS code.
This is the notorious "20 questions" rules that allow
the IRS to deny the right to be self-employed to
contractors involved in technology. If you are interested
in being

A) part of a class action suit to this end, and/or
B) helping to provide resources

please send me a BRIEF email response (mark@t4p.com)
to let me know.

The advocacy group has limited resources, and they are
trying to determine if they can take this issue on or
not. Strong interest from many people could be most
encouraging to them, especially if some of us can help
to kick in some financial support for the legal costs.

Section 1706 should never have been put into law. It has
been unfair and unconstitutional from the beginning.
Legislative solutions are slow in coming and may not
stop the inequity even when they arrive. It is high
time we had our day in court.

Please consider sending me a response to indicate your
interest and support. Please pass this message on to
any group that may share this interest.

If you going to reply with a "It-will-never-work" message,
please don't. If you are not supportive of this cause,
please reconsider!

Thanks for listening.
