Heh.  Yeah, nothing like a little judiciously exercised self-delusion,

I'm pleased to report I have done just that!  My very first "official"
port (xless).  Submitted it yesterday.

OK, it was small and only required two simple patches.  Still, I'm rather
proud of myself, and happy to be able to contribute to such a noble and
worthwhile cause as well.   *And* I now have a much better grasp of the
"right" way to do a port for the collection.  I had ported it for my own
personal use a while back, but went back and re-did it according to the
handbook; once I had it all done I sat here typing "make", "make install",
"make package", etc. a bunch of times just to enjoy the results.  Neat-o!
