Well, I'm no genius with Windows either (although for some reason, I seem
to know more than is good for me).  mailnews.exe comes with the IE stuff
and is also downloadable seperately.  My experience with Microsoft is that
it's best to use all or none - a mix is a pain in the ass !

As IE is available for WFW, so should mailnews.exe be - I think.

Yep, it's there for 2.2 and 3.0-current.  I have it running quite nicely
now.  Of course the next release is 2.2-RELEASE - in my experience, 2.2
has been as stable as 2.1.5 for some time.
