: If you have one of the first Jaz Jet cards, then it's probably an
: Adaptec AIC-7800. However, if you've got one of the more recent Jaz
: Jets, then it's an AdvanSys 960u. By the looks of it you've got an
: AdvanSys card. Look at the chip on the card and see if it says
: AdvanSys.

I just looked at the iomega Jaz Jet FAQ again, and it looks like I
misread it.. argh.. I feel so dumb :)
I guess it is advansys...

::I'm gonna try to get a real 2940 somewhere...
:
: The card is actually very nice (and for $100 the price can't be beat).
: I've used it under Win95 and even on a PowerMac and haven't been
: disappointed at all.

Yeah, It does seem fairly nice... I just wish I could use it now though,
isntead of later :)

: Don't fret though, while the card isn't current supported by FreeBSD, it
: soon should be (under FreeBSD-current).

I hope so... I don't want my nice equipment just sitting there :/
