Just wondering if anyone else out there has tried porting this, and if so,
were you successful?

It looks like it would be a very interesting thing to play with.

If anyone's interested, there are two tarballs (one "generic", one for DEC
Alpha) in:

ftp://freedom.lm.com/pub/fdlite/

as well as some others in:

ftp://freedom.lm.com/pub/

I've tried both of the "fdlite" sources, and gotten nowhere with them.
Downloading ftp://freedom.lm.com/pub/freedom4linux.tar.gz right now.

And by the way, I do have lesstif-0.71 installed.
