Hello,

I am planing to buy a laptop specifically for the purpose of installing freeBSD
and learning about the system. This is purely for educational reasons, I do not
have anything specific planed other than moving my current internet activity
from the windows / trumpet to the bsd box and playing with unix.

I plan to plug in a 28.8 pcmcia modem into one the slots and dialing into my
local ISP (he uses dynamic IPs BTW) Will I have problems with the PCMCIA modem?

What about the built-in mouse pointer? I will probably get a toshiba unless
everybody screams "Don't buy a laptop!!"

Thanks for your help!
