I've been having all kinds of problems with this tape drive.

I have a Buslogic BT-{445S,747,742,946C} rev 42 (32-bit) SCSI card
with one Seagate 2 Gb, one Seagate 4Gb and the tape drive.

Backups work maybe 10% of the time, and only after I've re-booted the
system. The other times it will start, then I get the following
message

bha0: Operation time excees #### seconds

this message repeats every 30 seconds until I reboot the machine.

Has anyone experienced this, or does anyone have any ideas?
