Huh?  You should complain at your news admin.  Admittedly, there are
fewer articles in the bsdi group right now (btw., it's
comp.unix.bsd.bsdi.misc, is that the reason for your confusion?), but

Could it be that the file has already been deleted again?  I've seen
errors of this kind e.g. when producing a core file that didn't fit.
