Hi,

I'm running NetBSD 1.1/i386, and have noticed some strange behaviour as
of late when ftp'ing to Ultrix or DU hosts.

Basically, after putting a kilobyte from my NetBSD host, I get
426 Data connection: Connection reset by peer.

If I get a file under DU/Ultrix from my NetBSD host, I get
netin: Connection reset by peer
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

So basically any data transfers from NetBSD to Ultrix or DU hosts do
not work. The other way is fine. I can do transfers from NetBSD to
VMS, or to IRIX with no problem.

The only thing I can assume is that there may be something wrong with
the MTU? But where would I change that? :P

Telnet/interactive sessions between the hosts are also fine. Its just
when I ftp things that I have a problem.

Here are some version numbers:

NetBSD 1.1 on a P70 32mb ram NE2000 compat Net Card
Ultrix V4.2 and V4.4
DU V3.2

Any ideas?

Thanks for any help!
Christian.
