It _MAY_ be possible to make pccard.conf entries in sort of an 'either
or' fashion... comment out the modem one and uncomment the network one
when you're at home and vice-versa. Can you mail or post a complete
'pccardc dumpcis' of the card? I rather suspect that the device is
a standard 16x50 compatable serial port and a 3C589 rolled into one,
in which case you should be able to use either the ep or the sio
driver to talk to it.
