Interestingly, on Solaris 2.5 (and 2.4 maybe also), this distinction doesn't
always work right becuase if you export a partition and mount it through
CacheFS through AutoFS, Solaris doesn't use a LoFS when the filesystem is local
(even it does so if you don't put CacheFS in between), which means that
the NFS server must be running (and that the access to local files is
artifically slowed down). I hope this bug is fixed in Solaris-2.6.
(it forced me to move the nfs.server statrup script from rc3.d to rc2.d
since sendmail is on such an AutoFS+CacheFS+NFS partition, just like LPR)
