Sun demonstrated this at Comdex Fall, running out-of-the-shrink-wrap Windows
applications (like Excel) under Solaris on a SPARCstation.  Performance
was good, they were emulating the intel application code, and running the
Windows 3 system calls natively.  They were talking about bundling this
technology in a future release of Solaris, since it contains no Microsoft
code there is no licencing issue.

I still think NT will sell by the million.  Sad.
