This can seem like an encouragement this is at best misplaced, but the
reason is this: In the last issue of Linux Journal, a reader whose letter
was published asked for more coverage of FreeBSD as well as Linux. The
editor replied that investigation at the time LJ was founded suggested
that the FreeBSD community wasn't interested in a magazine devoted to
FreeBSD!?!?! However, he said, "we have some things we are working on".
Now, I can only speak for myself, but _I_ would certainly enjoy a FreeBSD
or Linux/FreeBSD magazine. How about emailing LJ giving a vote for
FreeBSD? Or even better: Ask them to ship a FreeBSD CD on the next issue
of LJ. That should get the Linux camp going (and Walnut Creek). It's no
doubt in my mind that Linux has benefited enormously from it's popularity,
and although the development philosophy of FreeBSD is , shall we say,
more controlled, it's a pity there not a FreeBSD on every desk in
every home(heard that one before?)

I dont have the email adress of LJ offhand, but look at www.redhat.com or
www.linux.org. You'll find it there somewhere.
