Can I do that under FreeBSD ? how ?

Why? : I need to install FreeBSD on a Thinkpad. If I proove that it (I)
can be done, then the office will get me a supported pcmcia supported
ethernet card.

Try over the serial port, but Thinkpad's 8550 can hardly do 9600bps.
It would take for ever to do this (+ I have not figure out how to prevent
disconnections... timeout set very large, mtu set to 296, ...)..

Thanks.
