I have (--) S3: PCI: 968 rev 0, Linear FB @ 0xf8000000

Section "Device"
Identifier "Diamond Stealth64 Video 3240/3400 (IBM RAMDAC)"
    VendorName "Diamond Video"
    BoardName "Unknown"
    #VideoRam 2048
   #Option "slow_vram"
   DacSpeed 220
# Use Option "nolinear" if the server doesn't start up correctly
# (this avoids the linear framebuffer probe). If that fails try
# option "nomemaccess".
#
# Refer to /usr/X11R6/lib/doc/README.S3, and the XF86_S3 man page.
    Ramdac "ibm_rgb526"
EndSection

Works fine for me running 3.0 current, and got XFree86-3.2 compiled from
sources.
