URGENT: Need to Transfer data from Apple3 disks

I have to read the data from several hundred Apple3 disks, created by
Apple Writer. A small charity I'm associated with used the system for @10 years
and the machine just went south .

Is there any utility available to read the disks? If the system was
running I could print through a null modem to a PC port and capture the data
that way. Intel system available: O/S's Xenix, Win95. Can re-install FreeBSD

Please help if you can. Thank you.
