That's old info, pertaining to BSD/OS 1.0.

I've installed 8.8.0/8.8.2/8.8.3 from the generic sendmail kits on BSD/OS
2.0.1 and 2.1 boxes with no problems. Just remember that you don't use "make"
for this, you use "makesendmail".
