The kernel has been compiled with the option to enable the 16Bit capabilities. I installed maplay from the package and it plays slightly too slow most mpeg files. I can make the comparison with another maplay running on a Sparc station and it is obvious it is slower under FreeBSD. Have you ever experienced such behavior ?
