Hi,

I want to buy a notebook to increase my mobility but I want to carry my
fine FreeBSD and XFree86 environment with me. I suspect there might be
problems:

* What graphics adapters are there for TFT displays? are there notebooks
for which XFree86 does not work?

* problems using a touchpad as pointer device?
** are touchpads PS/2 or serial mouse compatible?
** if not, are there touchpad drivers?

* APM problems fixed for FreeBSD now?

* I suspect that PCMCIA cards need a FreeBSD device driver for each
card, like modem, CD, network (other than ze device for IBM's network
card). Is this true?

* any generic PCMCIA support for FreeBSD?

all help is appreciated!

regards
