Well. I've recently built the new 2.1.6 release kernel wich seems to work
finer - when connected to a hub, the de0 light won't anymore come down during
the bootup probe...

My only problem is that whatever I declare in the /etc/sysconfig :
 ifconfig de0 inet .... netmask .... [link0|link1|link2]
the if_de.c driver still continues to enable the BNC/AUI port, *BUT*
my card only have an UTP (twisted pair) port !!!

If anyone has any clues... let my know !
