The fixit diskette is made in the same way as the boot diskette - there
is a "fixit.flp" image in the floppies directory of the distribution.

It basically contains a reasonably complete set of programs that you can
use to manually fix a failed distribution - these binaries aren't anything
different from the stuff found in /bin, /usr/bin, /sbin and /usr/sbin on a
running system, they just won't fit on the boot floppy, and aren't really
needed unless something goes wrong.
