Hello,

I get "Error: fdc0: input / output ready timeout" when I try to use ft
on my FreeBSD 2.1.5R system. The fdc0 is the one integrated
on the ASUS P/I-P55T2P4 mainboard, and the tape backup
unit is a Iomega Tape 250. The BIOS is Award, v.4.50G
(rel. 105).

The kernel and everything else should be correctly configured, at
least from what I found in the FreeBSD doc.

Is there a way to solve this problem, or should I give up?

TIA,

Cleto Pescia
