Hi Netters.

I posted a message asking about how to change the interface used on a
3Com 3C509 ISA ehternet card from AUI to UTP, on a BSDI 2.0 system.

I booted to DOS (Uggh!), ran the 3C5X9CFG.EXE file that comes on a disk
with the card, and saw that the card was set for auto-detect. Perhaps I
had the AUI port active when I installed the card originally?

In any case, I edited my /etc/netstart file, and changed my LINKARGS=
line to LINKARGS=LINK1, and rebooted.

There were no problems. The ethernet interface on my BSDI system came up
fine with the ether cable plugged in to the UTP port.

Thanks to everyone who sent me email or posted an answer!
