ok, im on windows 95 now, but i feel like i want to try someting new...
for purposes of productivity and fun.if i sound ignorant about this its
becauuse i am.i only ran unix a few times before.

this is what i have gathered.

both os's are unix clones.
i can run unix stuff in both os's.
linux seems to be more popular.
freebsd is smaller.
they are both free!

sooooooooo, anyone have any ideas? tips or hints about what i should
use?
and does anyone know the differnces between slackware, redhat etc..
versions of linux.

please send me some email so i dont make the wrong choice,

btw this isn not a fake email address, its a forwarding address, it wil
get to me.

so far im leaned in the freebsd direction because its got such a cool
logo, lol
