Hi!

I've got BSDI 2.0 w/ pathces, and I am using a 3COM 3C509 ISA Combo
ethernet card. Right now, it is using the AUI port (which seems to be
the default), so I've got a transceiver on it to convert to 10baseT.

I'd like to chuck the transceiver and use the native 10baseT port.

Do I need to make any kernel changes? If so, what would I have to change?

Does the card autosense where the net traffic is?

Any pointers as to the process of switching to TP appreciated!
