I have a 386DX-40 that I'm using as a router between my Ethernet LAN and a PPP
connection to the Internet.

I was wondering which PPP implementation (kernel or user) would be more
efficient in this situation. The PPP link is permanent, with fixed IP address.

The 386 is also used as a mail server and DNS server for the internal LAN.

Thanks
