I am just getting started in X-Windows on my 386BSD system and I have been
(unsuccessfully :( trying to make it work on my system. I followed all
instructions, but when I try to start XFree86 (with the xdm -nodameon command
from root) all I get is some "snow" on the monitor. If it were a TV picture,
I'd say it was horizontal or vertical hold problems, since it isn't I guess
I have an Xconfig timing problem. I will try to construct my own Xconfig
entries, but if someone out there has done it already or can point me to a
more complete database of Xconfig entries, I'd appreciate it. My config:
a NEC 3FGX (yes, I tried the NEC entries from the modeDB) and the internal
video on an AST Premium II 386 (the video that is included on the motherboard)

Thanks for your help.
