   Hi!



   Do you  ever try pkg_manage, It's  a "ASCII-graphic"  tool to manage the
   installation  and deinstallation of  packages.  It  shows the  installed
   packages and you can chose several actions per simple key click. 

   If you are locking for a tool to create a package out  of a source tree,
   i.e. building the patch files,  etc. I dont  know a better solution than
   doing it by feet/hand.
