I am running a web/news server under BSD/OS 2.1 on a system equipped
with an adaptec 2940 PCI SCSI controller.

I would like to attach this server to an outboard RAID controller that
is currently in place and running well (although not w/BSD yet).
(CMD CRD-5000 with three host channels and 6 disk channels)
This RAID controller gives the appearance of being one or more large
separate disk drives, where each rank of drives is assigned a separate
LUN and each LUN is accessible from any of the host ports.

Unfortunately, The first LUN (LUN 0) is already being used be another
host. Therefore, the next rank of drives (RAID SET) would need to be
set to LUN 1.

To the Adaptec controller, this rank would be accesible through
SCSI 0, LUN 1.

My question is this:

Is there any way to configure BDS/OS to recognize LUNs at all?
If so, can it be set up to boot from something other than LUN 0?
OR can I boot from floppy or a small SCSI drive and mount my
	RAID set afterwards?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
