Good question, it seems like some more people need a Book on UNIX
System Administration (see disktab discussion)!

A book that really helped me to ge into the UNIX world (well I was a
newcommer too) is

Evi Nemeth: "UNIX System Administration Handbook"

I don't remember the publisher now, but you'll find it in a catalogue.
This book tells you everything you have to know in order to keep you
BSD at good health.
An other book I use frequently, which is more general on Berkeley
UNIX features is

	"An Introduction to Berkeley Unix"

don't remember author and publisher, but a catalogue will show it up
under this Title. It gives a general introduction to C system
programming, troff et al. document preparation, vi, emacs, grep, sed
and awk, networking stuff etc.

There is a list on UNIX books to FTP from a host that I don't know :-)
sorry but I am not at home and you cannot keep all information you get
on USENET in mind. Anyway whatch in comp.unix.questions or
news.answers for the list of books on UNIX and C.

Evi Nemeth really helps, belive me
