Ok, here's my stupid question:

Can I set up ijppp to dial up my server, where I run slirp and get a
random gateway, automatically when I need to do a net connetion?

I have ppp working fine,
I have demand ppp working - if I ping the connection, it wakes up

BUT, how do I trick the connection so that accesses to the nameserver
or other non-connected nodes wake up the ppp service, when the gateway
I get may be different than the initial one tried? I'm using slirp on
netcom, so I get one of a large number of machines on the other end.

This is how I work with my Mac - it's nice but I realized that maybe I
can't do this with ijppp.

Oh, I am also running routed as I can't get stuff working without it.

Thanks,

Mike Harding
