1. Have the kernel sources on your machine.
2. Type:  patch -d /sys/i386/isa < that-patch-file-you-have
3. Remake your kernel.  If you don't know how to do that, see
   the appropriate section (which is clearly marked) of
     http://www.freebsd.org/handbook
