Tride to do my fist build of a port today, and I ran into
some problems.

Acording to the handbook I should ftp to ftp.freebsd.org and
look in /pub/FreeBSD/ports. Problem 1 no such directory. I *assumed*
that the correct direcotry would be /pub/FreeBSD/prots-2.1.5. I am
runing 2.1.5.

Problem 2 when I got new/nn-current and did a make install
it failed on badk checksums for the received file.

Reverted back to just news/nn. got the skeleton fine, make
ftp;s the sources fine and said it did a good build an install. I
put the nntp serrvers name in /usr/local/lib/news/nntp_server as
news@awod.com. I think this format is correct. Now when I type nn it core
dumps.

	What am I doing wromg?

Thanks.
