 --> Agreed 100%.  Putting together a system yourself is the way to go
these days.  I did and got a much better system for the money with the
same parts than I could have anywhere else.  All you lose is the
universal warranty.  Doing it yourself means going to individual
manufactuers for service...though with all the systems I've built, I've
never had a problem. (Just buy quality from the start!!)
