Does the 4ML have a network interface built in?? We have several 4 & 4P
HP Laser printers at work, and all they have is the standard Centronics
parallel interface. Or, does that hub have a Centronics port and the
ability to assign it an IP address?

If you can't do that, hook the printer to one of your FreeBSD boxes.
Then check the Handbook section on network printing, the /etc/printcap
file, and such.
