A segmentation violation.  Most likely a programmer's error...

I believe you're already done, except that your setup values are
certainly not yet saved.  Have you tried booting the system off the
hard disk?  Boot it with -c again, adjust your settings, and then
continue to multi-user.  Login as `root', and see if you can make
sense in editing /etc/sysconfig.

You might also try running /stand/sysinstall for things like loading
additional packages.
