Hi!
I use SounBlaster16 compartible sound card (Edison Gold) on P5-100 with
FreeBSD 2.1.5R, my config looks like this:

controller snd0
device sb0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 7 conflicts drq 1 vector sbintr
#device lpt0 at isa? port? tty irq 7 vector lptintr
a.e. lpt disabled (and also turned off).

Now I can play wav, etc... files using xanim, but not .au and not .mid.
Problem is strange behavior of 'cat file.au >/dev/audio'. The sound that
I hear is too slow (seems more than 2 times slow). Could anyone explain
me what I'm doing wrong. All hypothesis are accepted.

Second problem is playmidi, has anyone successfuly used it?
I've tried to use any key in command string but without success
most common error: No playback device found
( /dev/midi0 exists) only -e key causes silent awaiting.

Could anyone help?

                                               Regards
                                                   Cher.
