On the contrary, posting your private flame wars to this newsgroup
makes people who (like me) previously had no opinion in the matter
think you are a pain in the neck.

You just can't win by this kind of tactic.  If you persist, a few
years from now, if people remember you it will be as someone who
filled a newsgroups with a stupid flame war.  Or, if you're lucky, as
Kook of the Month.  Is that what you want?
