After applying patch U210-024 (upgrade of sendmail to 8.7.6)
my logs show a bunch of `mailer prog died with signal 13'.

I suppose it comes from my pop users and means timeout?

Somebody able to clarify?

And one more: I use gup to let users admin their newsgroups
via mail. gup is invoked by `|gup'. It seems that sendmail
dying via signal 13 (and sometimes 213) refuses to deliver
the mail.

Has 8.7.6 some new features preventing it to accept piped
progs as above (security reasons perhaps)? What would be
the right way to invoke `|gup'?
