: So does this mean that if I have / /usr and /var as seperate
: physical partitions, I can't mount all 3 from a remote system ?
: If I understad what you are saying I could only mount / and /var or
: / and /usr. Am I understanding this coreclty ? Or can I get all 3 if
: I put 3 lines in /etc/ecports ?

Yes, you can put all three in your exports file, and mount them all, on
the other box, but you can't export more than one hierarchy of a given
physical filesystem.
