Eeeek.  You started upside down. :-(

The packages are additional software you only need once you've got the
base system installed.

Please, point your web browser to http://www.freebsd.org, search for
the handbook, and read chapter 2 ``Installing FreeBSD''.

Alternatively, download the files tools/rawrite.exe and
floppies/boot.flp, write the latter to a formatted floppy (using
rawrite.exe), and read the installation instructions on-line after
booting the floppy.  Don't worry, no harm will be done to your system
until you explicitly confirm that the installation should happen.
