After applying the Beta kernel patch kit, I tried to apply the patches
that come with XFree86 and ran into a patch clash of sorts (I forget
   which ones right now).

Is there an easier way of adding X support than figuring out how to do
the X patches by hand after having made the Beta patches?

Patches 28-31 in the patch kit were contributed by the XFree86 to
Terry and should be essentiall the same as the patches that come with
XFree86. So skip one or the other. Rich

   Thanks.
