Hi all,

yesterday I installed Freebsd 2.5.1 on a i486 16 MB Ram EISA board with
Adaptec 1740 and WD 8013 network board.
The system work well but if I try to do a some network trafik like :
ping localhost
or
ping `hostname`
or
ping s12 ( it is a old Sun 4/110 in the same network)

it's take 10 seconds for the first answer.
If I try a
ping 127.0.0.1
or
ping 193.141.105.13
or
ping 193.141.105.10
the answer arrive immediately.
To run X11 in resonable time I change DISPLAY freebsd:0.0 to DISPLAY unix:0.0
(freebsd is the hostname).

Any idea whats going wrong ?

Thanks

  Stephan
