The options to the kernel configurations were not much different to the kernel 2.1.0 However, in 2.1.5, whenever I try to mount the floopy by mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt the computer crashes with a page fault. This never occured in 2.1.0. I checked out the boot mesg on both kernels and both detects the floppy the same way.. any idea what's making this crash?
