Hi, i am in need of some help installing FreeBSD, I am currently running
Linux and i wanted to give FreeBSD a shot. I have no CDROM, so i d/led
some of the packages from current-packages on the FTP site
(sysutils, shells, security, net, dev) and i was wondering how i would go
about Installing from a MS-DOS partition? Also, do the names of the files
matter? And do they need to be in certain directories? Did i d/l the
correct packages to run a bare/minimum installation? I was just going to
modify all of the names, and then copy them to my MSDOS partition. I would
like to give it a try, but i'm not sure about what i need, or how to
install. If anyone can help, i'd really appreciate it. Please email me if
possible. Thanks.
