I'm assuming you're running in 1024x768 or above.  I wondered about this too,
until I saw someone with Linux do it right.  The Linux distribution had more
fonts than the XFree86 I got (misc and 75dpi).  What you need is the 100dpi
fonts.  I just copied them from a Silicon Graphics machine we've got here,
but any machine with X should do.
